CDL A Delivery Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Put an emphasis on prioritizing safety when maneuvering tractor-trailers on the road.
• Ensure that the vehicle is safe for travel by conducting thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Formulate effective delivery strategies to increase efficiency and uphold timely shipment arrivals.
• Abide by regulations governing the proper handling and packaging of goods to secure their transportation.
• Uphold transparent communication with dispatchers and recipients throughout the entire delivery process.
• Record hours invested in work and routine maintenance for vehicles with accuracy.
• Observe the Department of Transportation (DOT) safety protocols to guarantee the protection of employees and the commodities being shipped
• Immediately disclose any vehicle concerns, incidents, or violations to uphold regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Holding a commercial driver’s license with a Class A classification.
• Upholding an impeccable driving record. Complying with DOT physical assessment and drug screening prerequisites.
• Efficient time management and skillful task coordination capabilities.
• Proficient in safely and effectively handling the transportation of heavy and sizable objects.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a knack for establishing long-term client rapport.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance, including the timely reporting of any incidents that may arise.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A structured training curriculum designed for accelerated learning over 12 weeks for individuals with experience levels that may range from three months to five years and above

Preferred Experience:

• Skill in operating diverse trailer types, such as dry van, refrigerated (reefer), flatbed, and tanker units.
• Competence in overseeing simultaneous shipments, integrating different transport modes, and transporting autos.
• Expert knowledge in managing household goods and unique cargo.
